• TURNING OUT WISCONSIN VOTERS

  Just like every November, Wisconsin will be a crucial battleground in this election. It is a possible tipping point state for Vice-President Harris’ victory, Senator Tammy Baldwin is facing a competitive race for reelection, and both houses of the legislature are at stake with the brutal GOP gerrymander finally broken. The GOP even put two constitutional amendments meant to disempower Democratic Governor Tony Evers on the ballot in this Tuesday’s primary. Wisconsin Democrats have plenty of virtual volunteer opportunities coming up, starting with days of action Saturday and Sunday to turn out voters for the primary.   The Movement Voter Project funnels money to grassroots communities in key election areas, empowering them to reach out to potential voters with whom they already have relationships. This strategy has helped elect Democrats up and down the ballot, and organizers are now working hard to elect Harris and deliver a Democratic Congress.   Getting involved to help elect Kamala and Democrats up and down the ballot can feel daunting, especially if we’re fairly new at it.
