❌👑 MAKING #NOKINGS THE BIGGEST MASS MOBILIZATION YET ❌👑
We’re just 10 days from Trump’s coincidentally-on-his-birthday military parade… and 10 days from the #NoKings mass mobilization. More than 1,400 events and counting are already on the books in all 50 states, DC, Puerto Rico and multiple foreign countries, and 200,000 people are already committed to joining us.
We know what that means – it’s time to kick it into higher gear. Rogan’s List is proud to be a national partner for #NoKings, and we’re looking forward to coming together with all of you to take the streets in defense of our national values. Here’s some things we can do today to make it a success:
Make the ask. Let’s commit to asking one person in our lives we know has not yet attended a mass mobilization to join us today! We can find events near us here.
Build the buzz on social media and our networks. We can find easy-to-share social media posts promoting the event here and digital assets we can use for social media or sign-making here. Vote Save America has also released an event promotion guide we can check out here. Finally, we can add the ❌👑 to our posts and social media handles!
Create and share art. #NoKings is seeking art submissions to help reach new audiences! This is a chance for creative folks to have some fun and build the movement! We can check out their guidelines and submit our work here.
Join the trainings. If we’re helping run an event or just want to be ready to do more, #NoKings is holding a series of trainings over the next week! We can sign up to learn more about safety and de-escalation tonight or Sunday, media and messaging tomorrow, our rights as protesters Tuesday in English or in Spanish, serving as a marshal on June 11th!

🏃🏽♂️ MUSK STEPS BACK, WE STEP FORWARD – CALL TOMORROW, DAY OF ACTION JUNE 28 🏃🏽♂️
Elon Musk has formally left his position as a special government employee, avoiding the financial disclosure and conflict-of-interest rules that apply to full-time government workers. While he came nowhere near the $2 trillion in cuts he insisted he would make to our government services or even the $150 billion he’s claiming he got done, he still managed to hobble services Americans count on like Social Security, the VA and FEMA, put hundreds of thousands of people out of work and stop his companies from being held accountable. And it’s not over yet – while there are signs his relationship with Trump is fraying he remains politically influential on the global right, his DOGE minions aren’t going anywhere and he still stands to reap billions in government contracts from the president he spent $288 million to elect.
But Musk’s pivot is still a victory for the Tesla Takedown protesters, and we’re just getting started:
Organizers looking to divest public money from Tesla have already succeeded in getting the Lehigh County pension fund to pull out, and they have active campaigns already in nine states to pressure more pension funds and local governments. They’re holding a mass call TOMORROW at 8:30pm to plug more people into the campaign. We can sign up here and learn more about the campaign here.
#TeslaTakedown protests are rolling on at galleries, showrooms, dealerships and charging stations every weekend (find one here). In honor of Musk’s birthday on June 28th they’re holding their biggest day of action yet: #MuskMustFall. We can find an event near us or sign up to host one here.
We can also use these tools to push BlackRock, Vanguard, State Street, and whoever is running our 401(k)s to get out of the Elon Musk business here.
Senator Elizabeth Warren's office has published an exhaustive report listing in detail how "Musk and individuals acting on his behalf have been involved in dozens of questionable actions that raise questions about corruption, ethics, and conflicts of interest." It is surprising how many people do not realize what has really been going on. The message here is loud and clear: this regime is incredibly corrupt. Let's read up and share this information far and wide, whether in shorter segments or in full.
MTG ADMITS SHE DIDN’T READ THE MAGA MURDER BUDGET AND OTHER OBSTACLES
At this specific moment, Trump may be wishing Musk just go away quietly, and he’s not having much luck. Elon is now publicly blasting the MAGA murder budget, calling it a “disgusting abomination” that will explode the deficit (which is true). Senators including Rand Paul, Ron Johnson and Mike Lee have struck a similar note, calling for much deeper slashes to the services regular Americans depend on to pay for billionaire tax cuts. Meanwhile, a handful of GOP senators are complaining the Medicaid cuts are already too big. And to top it all off, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene became the latest House Republican to admit she did not read the bill before voting on it – and would have voted against it over the anti-AI regulation provisions.
In short: the divides in the Republican Party over this bill are deep, their margins are thin, and time is not on their side. The more people know about this bill, the angrier they get. So let’s tell them to slow down. We can call our members of Congress and tell them it’s outrageous they’re rushing such massive changes through so fast they don’t even know what they’re voting for. Republicans should demand their leadership puts on the brakes, and Democrats should use all procedural tools available to make sure they do.

💲 PRACTICAL SUPPORT FOR TRANS FOLKS THIS PRIDE MONTH 💲
Our trans siblings are under attack by our government. Increasingly, they are openly ripping the “protect the kids” mask off and targeting care and legal rights for trans adults, too. This Pride Month, we need to recommit to solidarity in both advocacy and mutual aid. Here’s a few ways we can show practical support:
Donate to Trans Lifeline, a peer support network for trans people that runs a crisis hotline of their own which will be all the more important if Trump successfully eliminates services for LGBTQ youth through 988
Donate to the Trans Continental Pipeline, which helps trans people relocate from unsafe communities in the United States to Colorado, where they have more legal protection
Donate to one of these trans-led mutual aid funds, which provide direct support to trans folks in need
Donate to fund Distribute Aid’s harm reduction toolkits, which provide medical equipment for trans people taking injection-based gender affirming hormone therapy
Connect with one of these LGBTQIA+ organizations in our community
🔬 HOUSE DEMS TRACKING TERMINATED RESEARCH GRANTS 🔬
The Trump Administration’s war on science is cutting deeply at research labs across the country, and House Democrats are working to make sure everyone understands just how bad it’s been. The Democratic staff on the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology is conducting a survey on the impact of the cancellation of federal research awards. If we’ve had an award terminated since January 20th, let’s fill out this form to tell them about it – our confidentiality will be respected. And let’s spread the survey around our networks!
