WRITE POSTCARDS FOR WASHINGTON STATE
Postcards4WA is covering races for state and local races in Washington State. Over the past 6 years they've worked with 70 candidates and have sent about 182,000 postcards. We can check out their BLUE Challenge and get more information and sign up here.
VOTING WITH A DISABILITY
We have the right to vote if we are US citizens, age 18 or older on or before Election Day, and are registered to vote by our state’s voter registration deadline (see here for further details and potential restrictions). If we have a disability and we need accommodations to vote, we are entitled to get them, whether we’re voting in person or voting by mail. Maybe we need this information ourselves. Maybe we have friends, neighbors, or loved ones who need it. Either way, let’s check this guide to voting with a disability at Vote.org. Then, using this checklist, let’s make our, or help others make their, plan to vote with accommodations.
WRITE POSTCARDS TO SOUTH ASIAN (“DESI”) VOTERS
They See Blue is a voter outreach program that targets South Asian (“Desi”) voters who tend to skip some elections. We can find more information here and sign up to receive postcards and addresses here. (h/t CFAA)
DAILY HARRIS GRAPHICS TO SHARE ON SOCIAL MEDIA
Three Friends for Kamala have created graphics to share called #100ReasonsToVoteHarris2024. When we sign up, we will get an email every Sunday with graphics for each day of the week that highlight reasons to vote for Harris/Walz to share on social media. Let’s sign up by emailing 100ReasonsToVoteHarris2024@gmail.com with “YES 100 Reasons” in the subject line and we’ll be added to the group. (h/t Diane’s Blue Notes)
