"The mission of the Democratic Party in the Trump Era must be throwing wrenches in the gears wherever it is possible to do so?? " I cannot condone this comment nor the actions you have proposed
While I certainly understand your reasoning, I think trying to work with and for bipartisan results would be much more productive. I know what you're suggesting bt it seems to me that you're promoting Democrats do the same thing they've complained the other side did for the past four years.
To my mind, the question is less about right or wrong than it is about effective or ineffective - the same tactic can be used for positive or negative goals. There was a reason Democrats complained so much about the dilatory actions of the Republicans, they worked very well to stop us from getting things done, and the voting public chose to punish Democrats for failing to accomplish their goals far more than Republicans for their obstruction.
The Republican agenda for the Trump Administration is overwhelmingly one of chaos, destruction, and hate. We know this because they wrote a 900-page document outlining it. I think we should take their word for it and do our level best to stop them from doing as much damage as we can.
Bipartisanship, to my mind, is not a valuable goal when one of the two parties is no longer committed to democratic values and basic rights.
Very supportive and helpful. Thank you.
What we're here for!

Two wrongs don't make a right....
