I appreciate your direction towards action but please include phone banking for the two house races in Florida and the one in New York. And if you don’t, please explain why not. Thank you, Elena Loomis
So, first off, I do want to say we'll probably be posting more on phonebanking for the Florida races starting next week, and for New York once it's actually scheduled.
We have definitely emphasized these less than Wisconsin, for sure. One of our internal goals is to be offering actions where we believe List subscribers' efforts are best used - maximizing the amount of difference we can make in the limited time we have available in our days. While the potential gain of these races is huge, the chances that we are going to sweep all of them are minimal - these are deep red seats. For folks who are in the area, it is absolutely worth dedicating yourself to door-knocking and community organizing. For those of us elsewhere in the country, where our contributions will be limited to digital work and donations, it's hard for me to see where those efforts aren't better expended on the Wisconsin Supreme Court race, which will definitely decide control of the court and which we have a very clear shot at winning, than on the two Florida House races where we would need a huge overperformance to succeed happening on the exact same day.
Again, this will apply less to the New York race, since it's going to happen on a different date, and we will be promoting more ways to help as we get closer to April 1.
Thank you for reading - I hope this addresses your concern
We must do the counteroffensive with speed. Take to the streets. Begin an economic boycott. Stop buying. Stop buying everything.
