Yes! First things first, under ALL circumstances; take care of YOU!! You have guided us on the path we need to be on; you can rejoin us at any time! And thank you for the other actionable links. We will keep working in your absence, and in your name.
I knew I was missing your emails and finally got by here to see what happened. I am sorry about your health, and please take care of yourself. You really started the trend of things to do to make a difference, a long time ago! Before Substack. You really make a difference before these other communities took hold. You held the line, and now others are taking the ball and running with it. Even thought you don't have the running list, maybe check in with us from time to time to let us know how you are. Or tell us something you observed that is important that you want us to know. Thank you for being there for all of us.
Thank you, Susan! I seem to have contracted Long COVID with three diagnoses so far. I am proud of what we did starting in November of 2016. If my health improves or a miracle happens, we'll be back. You are right though, so many others have taken over and are doing such a wonderful job working hard to save our democracy.
Susan do you about the Sick Times? A newsletter dedicated to Long COVID. Betsy Ladyzhets a data scientist, is one of the founders. She is a person I have followed from the start of the pandemic. She gave down to earth data on COVID. Anyway, check her out. A good community. And I wait to hear updates from you!
Thank you for your tireless work. Your daily to-do list is the one I most often recommend, as it is always brief, easy to use, and rich with essential actions. I hope that your team can carry it forward. More than anything though, I hope that your health improves!
I'm very sorry to hear about your health issues and wish you only the best. My enormous thanks also for doing these lists all this time. You've been an enormous help to my activism here in Los Angeles.
I sincerely hope your health and energy are restored to you. You have given us so much hope when our situation was bleak. Mitzvah is too small a word. Thank you.
Focusing on your health is important, Susan. I hope you’ll soon get the healing you need to get back in the pink again. You’ve really contributed a lot here. Thank you so much!
